Within the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems division, IDDS - based in Lieusaint, France (77) - designs, sells, installs and maintains sectional doors, dock levelers and other loading dock equipment. Automated openings connect people, goods, vehicles and places quickly, efficiently and safely. By creating automated opening solutions for all industrial, logistics and commercial buildings, we improve traffic, comfort and safety in the workplace.

Within new equipment sales team, reporting to the sales manager, you are in charge of ASSA ABLOY Entrance systems products and solutions sales development.

You ensure the global follow up of your business within your sector, from the quotation to the global payment of the provision.

What you will be doing

You'll work in the new equipment sales national team, together with the other departments people such as our back office team or our realization supervisors.

Your main missions are the following : 

  • You ensure the business development of your sector and develop your customer portfolio within the geographical zone under your responsibility, in the respect of our sales policy
  • You develop your portfolio with general developers, investors, architects as well as major clients
  • You conduct the analysis of your customer needs on the field (measurement, technical constraints, …) in order to ensure the success of the project
  • You ensure the profitability of each project
  • You manage your project realization, with the support of back office and installation teams
  • For some of them, you participate in project meetings (opening, follow up, removal of reservations…)
  • You define and update the projects & invoicing forecasts
  • You manage the projects invoicing and ensure they are paid. If needed, you lead the actions with the cash collection department
  • You ensure that all data regarding your projects are up to date within our internal systems
  • You manage customers technical & financial litigations
  • You escalade the opportunities for maintenance contracts sales following new equipment installations

Who we are looking for

We think that you have previous 6 to 8 years experience from working in new equipment sales, in BtoB and that you like developing your business as well as evoluating in a challenging world. You can understand, explain (and sell !) technological products especially those which are to be in buildings. As a field person, you are customer oriented and you have developed links with major clients. You know how to develop your network, and work in autonomy.
